Description
The necton species composition was investigated along the salinity gradient in the Schelde. Within each of the five sampled marsh habitats, a comparison was made between large intertidal channels, small intertidal channels and tidal ponds. Scope Themes: Biology, Biology > Ecology - biodiversity, Coastal studies (e.g. shores, estuaries) Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Fresh water, Brackish water, Necton, Salinity gradients, Salt marshes, ANE, Belgium, Zwin, ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Schor van Waarde, ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Verdronken Land van Saeftinge, ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Zuidgors, ANE, Scheldt Estuary, Belgium, Schelde R., Crustacea, Pisces Geographical coverage ANE, Belgium, Zwin [Marine Regions] ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Schor van Waarde [Marine Regions] ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Verdronken Land van Saeftinge [Marine Regions] ANE, Netherlands, Westerschelde, Zuidgors [Marine Regions] ANE, Scheldt Estuary [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
