Description
The aim of this study was to repeat the rocky shore surveys of the coastline of Brittany, as originally surveyed by Crisp and Fischer-Piette (1959). The sampling methodology was developed from the original protocols, making use of semi-quantitative surveys (AFCOR-coding) and quantitative quadrat counts of barnacles and limpets. Recent data will then be compared to the historical data.
