Instruments are located upstream and downstream of the Vandammesluis and halfway along the Boudewijnkanaal. At these locations, conductivity, temperature and water depth were measured at 1.0 m below the water surface and near the bottom using a CTD sensor. Based on conductivity and temperature, salinity and density are calculated. In addition, two measuring trips were carried out, during which a profile was measured at eight locations using a CTD sensor. In addition to the measurements carried out by FHR, the periodic measurements of the surface water in the outer port and halfway along the Boudewijnkanaal carried out by the Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij and measurement campaigns conducted in the past are included in the analysis.
