The project aims towards an analysis of the stratigraphic relations between the Belgian Neogene deposits by means of detailed biostratigraphical research with dinoflagellate cysts and a reconstruction of the Neogene depositional history and tectonical evolution along the southern margin of the North Sea Basin.
