Panel discussion: working with nature on a resilient coast

The Interreg project Sustainable And Resilient Coastal Cities (SARCC) organizes a panel discussion on 18 November on how to build a resilient coast by working together with nature. This online interactive panel discussion with experts talks about the how and why of 'Nature Based Solutions' in coastal defense in Flanders.

Nature Based Solutions are measures that use natural processes instead of 'traditional' measures, which mainly focus on the use of hard infrastructure such as concrete and steel.

The Interreg project SARCC works among others on knowledge building among coastal professionals about what these NBS are, about the advantages of NBS compared to traditional infrastructure and about the way they can be deployed on our coast.
