IN SWEDISH
The Gothenburg Museum of Natural History was founded in 1833. It is the oldest museum in the city. In 1923, the zoological collections were moved from what was once the East India Company building downtown, to their new home in Slottsskogen Park. The museum is famous mainly for its blue whale and a beautifully preserved African elephant, but offers a lot more to its visitors!
