Seasearch was founded by the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) in 1987 and is currently administered by MCS on behalf of a Steering Group containing a broad range of organisations. The Seasearch records come from a wide range of volunteer divers from dives organised by the partner organisations within Seasearch.
