Beschrijving 2016.01.20  De vibrocorer werd succesvol getest, dat kan je zien aan de blijde gezichten! De vibrocorer wordt gebruikt voor het nemen van bodemkernen. Met een hoge trillingsfrequentie wordt een PVC-buis in de bodem gebracht door middel van een kerncilinder. Het VLIZ beschikt over een systeem dat kernen kan nemen van 3-meter lang met een diameter van 96 mm. De vibrocorer is het ideale instrument om onverstoorde bodemkernen te bestuderen van een relatief grote lengte. (overgenomen van https://www.facebook.com/rvsimonstevin)
