Abstract
A few juvenile specimens of Neopycnodonte cochlear (Poli, 1795) were found in Koksijde (Belgium) on 23 January 2005. This record in North Sea waters was confirmed by the find of more specimens in the harbour of Roscoff (Brittany, France) and of a sample in Galicia (North Spain).
