Abstract
These proceedings present selected papers from the workshop 'Models for the Sustainable Management of Temperate Plantation Forests' held at the INRA Centre de Recherches de Bordeaux-Aquitaine, 7-9 September 2000. The aims of the workshop were: 1) to review the current use of models in understanding and quantifying the sustainable management of plantation forests; 2) to encourage links between tree and soil modellers; 3) to encourage links between researchers and end-users; and 4) to identify priorities for future research and collaboration.
