The European inland Fisheries Advisory Commission (EIFAC) organized a Workshop on methodology for determinatiion of nutrient requirements in fish from 29 June to 1 July 1993 in Eichenau, Germany. There were nine consecutive technical sessions during which the various topics were introduced and discussed. These topics reffered to energy, proteins and amino acids, digestion and utilization of protein and energy, lipids and essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, minerals and trace elements, vitamins, feed additives, and application of nutrient requirement data. A series of recommendations were made concerning each of these main topics and are presented in the report together with the abstracts of the papers and posters presented during the Workshop.
