New records of the three small dorvilleid polychaete species, from Mediterranean Egyptian waters, namely: Pettiboneia urciensis, Protodorvillea kefersteini and Protodorvillea biarticulata were hereby illustrated. They belong to two different genera which are; Pettiboneia Orensanz, 1973 and Protodorvillea Pettibone, 1961. These two genera were not heretofore recorded from the Mediterranean Egyptian waters. The three reported species tend to coexist in the bottom samples of the Eastern Harbour of Alexandria, which may reflect a notable change in the benthic polychaete fauna in the Eastern Harbour and then in the polychaete fauna of Egypt.
