Abstract
Geographical strains of the brine shrimp, Artemia , can be characterized by the diameter of their cysts, their cyst volume and chorion thickness. The paper describes the routine procedure that has been worked out for an accurate size-analysis of Artemia cyst batches using Coulter Counter® equipment.
