Abstract
The structure of six populations of Rissoa parva, Barleeia unifasciata and Bittium reticulatum at two localities of Basque Coast (N. Spain), inhabiting sediment and Halopteris scoparia algae, has been established from fortnightly abundance data.R. parva shows 4 cohorts, from Mar. to Aug., with a settlement length of 0.6-0.7 mm. This species lives 3 months (Mar.-Apr. cohort), and 11 months the others B. unifasciata shows 5 cohorts from Apr. to Dec., which settle at 0.4-0.5 mm. It lives 8.11 months.
