Abstract
The occurrence of black spots in fillets of C. browni due to the occurrence of nematode eggs is reported. The eggs were found to be identical with C. spinosa egg type previously described from C. milberti . The presence of the capillarid eggs in the tongue sole is discussed as a new observation in relation to gaps in knowledge of the adult nematode and the biology of the shark.
