Description 1895 (Circa). Het CHALET ROYAL (KONINKLIJK CHALET).
Het KONINKLIJK CHALET, hier gezien vanuit de duinen te Mariakerke (thans Oostende), werd gebouwd tussen 1874 en 1876 in opdracht van Z.M. Koning LEOPOLD II.
Links op de achtergrond, het tweede Kursaal.
