This data set includes information from the Irish Sea BBT that was obtained during the MARBEFES project. It includes two transects of open ocean cores, and carbon data from coastal sites in Ireland. This occurred in 2023-2024.

This data set was created by Ryan Smazal and Grace Cott to investigate links between Blue Carbon in a variety of habitats within the BBTs. It includes a data from coastal and marine sites, in order to assess carbon stock and source.
