For the purpose of elucidating the macruran fauna of the north-weatern Arabian Gulf a survey was carried out along the coast of Kuwait from March 20th to May 17th, 1972. The macruran decapods examined comprised 12 penaeid shrimps, 4 cardean shrimps and 1 palinurid lobster. Anatomical details are given of all species examined.
